The acquisition of NUMERIC Brand, by Legrand is a milestone in the Indian UPS industry and both Numeric and Legrand brands have the opportunity to offer most of the electrical infrastructure under one roof. Numeric brand will keep their current network, product catalogues, sales teams, commercial teams and technical development teams. Legrand intends to accelerate the growth of its brand by sustained investment, launch of new products, and focus on growing the market backed by the pan India sales and service network. Numeric UPS was adjudged the SD's No. 1 Power Electronic Company of the Year for the Twenty First Straight Year. The total turnover of the company was 591.60 crores up from 580.00 crores in 2011-2012, a growth of just 2.0% over previous year (Probably due to change of guard.) Numeric’s are also the undisputed king of Online UPSs out of 591.60 crores of total turnover, Online UPS accounted for over 495.90 crores which enabled it to win the coveted SD’s No. 1 Online UPS Manufacturer of the year award by a huge margin. The company which only since last few years have ventured into Line-interactive UPS manufacturing, topped that list too claiming the coveted SD’s No. 1 Offline/Line-interactive UPS Manufacturer of the year award with sales amounting to 95.70 crores.
